Engineering and Audio

Live Audio

Javier Flores as FOH audio technician at the La Casa de la Música de Viena auditorium in Puebla

I have had two major jobs in live audio. The first one was at one of the museums of La Constancia Mexicana in Puebla, specifically at the "Vienna House of Music in Puebla" museum. There, my duties included museum maintenance, guiding tours, and—most importantly for me—working as the audio engineer in their 500-seat auditorium.

My second live audio job is with the "Compañía Folklórica Magisterial de Hidalgo," where I am part of the musician team while also serving as the sound engineer on certain occasions. For international tours, I act as the liaison between the musicians, company directors, and the host country's audio engineers.

Recording and Mixing

Studying Music Production Engineering has equipped me with skills such as miking techniques, analog and digital mixing, and many other audio-related disciplines.

So far, I have collaborated on recording a single and an album. The single is a pop and big band blend titled "Sin pensar" (Without Thinking), and here is the recording where I also played the saxophone.

I also collaborated on the recording and mixing of a folk music album by the group "Las Leonas".
